The Norwich City School District begins the tax collection process October 1st of each year and continues through March 31st. Taxes may be paid in full or 2 equal installments, the full payment or 1st installment is due by October 31st without penalty; the second half is due by March 31st without penalty.

The Norwich City School District will only send you one bill for your school taxes.  The top portion of the bill is your 1st payment coupon and the 2nd payment coupon is below it.  To pay in FULL, return both coupons with your payment.  There is not a reminder mailed for the March payment.

School tax bills will be mailed out the last week of September, and payments will be accepted starting October 1, 2009.

If you have any questions regarding the status of your 2009-2010 school taxes, you can call the Norwich City School Tax Collector at 607.334.1600 EXT. 5510 during office hours or you can email the office at tax@norwich.stier.org

Penalty period percentages apply as follows for 1st half payments not made in October:
November - 2%

December - 3%
January - 4%
February - 5%
March - 6%
(please see your tax bill for specific amounts)
